About us

This blog gathers the main information related with the investigation project realised under the Master of Design at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art an Design, University of Dundee.

Shows from different angles (research, ideas, prototypes, conferences, exhibitions) until the final project (Message in Braille) an exploration through the tactile and the visual representation of Braille, with the aim to bring  a Graphic Design perspective to the field.

Encourages a multidisciplinary view to better develop concepts of inclusion, education and reflection through Art and Design.

“Message in Braille” is a personalized poetry book produced with ACAPO (Portuguese Association for the Blind and Visual Impaired). Driven by a graphic design perspective, and, through different design methods and materials, it indicates a path to explore the aesthetics of Braille book covers, establishing a symbolic connection between the book and the reader.
